Was preening around Spearmints cheek, and he had a bundle of little pin feathers. I was preening them, all was well, but one fell out. He didn't seem to notice, but it was bleeding a fair bit. I dusted it with some flour and that did the trick.
Should I be worried? This gave me quite the scare. o_O

As long as the bleeding had been controlled, then I'd say Spearmint is fine :)
If the broken shaft is still in place, I'd keep an eye on it as it could start again, although that's less of a worry on small cheek feathers versus a broken flight or tail feather with their larger shafts.
