I have 4 pairs of Indian ringnecks, 2 of my pairs get along very well and very bonded. one pair actually gave me 5 eggs 3 months ago but they were all infertile. Anywho, the other 2 pairs do not get along well both females wont let the males eat and always like trying to bite them. their cages are very big so they are able to get away but my question is what should i do? they are breeders never were pets. I want to seperate but what do i do to get them to bond?

I have no experience breeding ringnecks myself, but I know female ringnecks can be aggressive with males that they do not like. You might separate the pairs for this season and see if they will cohabitate next year.

Agreed with this. The birds may never pair up, but keeping them separate may be best and to try again later. If I recall right, a breeder was struggling with getting two pionus to pair up... she ended up having to keep them separate for SEVEN YEARS before they were willing to pair up and breed.

If you aren't prepared for that, consider bringing in new breeding stock to see who you might be able to pair up... or consider swapping your current birds with other birds.
