I know that there are pellets out there specifically formulated for breeding females that have a higher level of calcium to replenish the calcium It takes to make the egg. Would anybody happen to know if it lasts as long as regular pellets if I were to get some ahead of time in the event that One of my two ladies end up laying? Does it last as long in the freezer as other pellets do, or does the additional calcium affect the longevity of it?
I don’t believe either of them are about to lay, but I know that it’s a potential and they’re both acting a bit hormonal so I would like to be prepared for just in case purposes.
