Hi all,

Our Pi has been on Harrison's High Potency for probably 5 years. Her bloodwork is always perfect and she's a very heathy birdy girl. We've seen quite a few avian vets, most haven't commented on her diet, but our last said she should be switched to Harrison's Lifetime cos HP is too high in fat/protein. But our Ladybird does not like the taste.

On the Harrison's bag and website, it says Pionus can stay on HP year round.

What's your guys' experience?

When Ripley was eating Harrison's, I kept him on HP. If the fat and protein are a concern, you could lower the amount of pellets and increase the amount of veggies to compensate. You could also ask for clarification from your vet armed with the information from the website :)
