Just wanted to pass along a word of caution. Most of my flock eats ZuPreem Natural, but my Pionus will only eat Harrison's, and my Red Bellied will only reliably eat TOPS. The Bio Bird Blends store has TOPS for a pretty good price, even with shipping. I had ordered one small bag from them a while back, and everything was fine. I ordered 4 more bags from them earlier this month, and all 4 bags were completely infested with seed moths, complete with that gross webbing and live larvae crawling around, when they arrived. I ordered them on April 1, they shipped on April 2, and they arrived on April 8. All 4 bags were sealed, and remained so until the 24th.

On April 24, I unsealed and opened the first bag to transfer it to an airtight canister, intending to do the same with all 4 bags. I was horrified when I opened the first bag - photos attached. Three of the 4 bags were infested this badly, and I initially thought the 4th bag was ok, but upon dumping it into the canister, I found larvae in that one as well. There are no moths of any kind in my home, and these were sealed bags well before the expiration date, so the infestation was there before the bags ever arrived at my home.

I emailed their customer service email address about this with these photos on April 24th, asking for a refund, but haven't received any response. I just ordered some from Amazon, and I really hope they arrive in good shape.

I would contact TOPs directly. Sometimes this is a storage issue; sometimes it's a manufacturer issue. I imagine they would want to investigate the lot to be sure it's not their fault!

Also, try emailing Bio Bird Blends again without photos attached. I've learned the hard way that spam filters will divert more items to spam if it has an attachment. I've fished some customer emails out of spam a few times because of this!

Good point - I will do that!

Also, try emailing Bio Bird Blends again without photos attached. I've learned the hard way that spam filters will divert more items to spam if it has an attachment. I've fished some customer emails out of spam a few times because of this!
Another great idea, I will resend the email without the photos.

Another update - I emailed TOPS directly as @Mizzely suggested, and forwarded them the email I had sent to BioBirdBlends, and TOPS responded back right away offering to send me three fresh bags to replace the ones I got from BioBirdBlends. They copied BioBirdBlends on their email back to me. That's really fantastic customer service...not many companies will stand behind their product like that even if it wasn't purchased directly from them. I'm impressed.

I'm so glad you got a good resolution! Hopefully BioBirdBlends is receptive to the situation as well. I love their foraging bouquets and was interested in trying some other stuff, but customer service needs to be good, too!
