Unless you count the amazing mess! I'm in use getting ready to clean and re arrangements.
Quaker ladies I just removed lower perches as they never use them and are only poop collectors.

Behold my candid mess and chaos ! :wacky::roflmao::laugh::eek:

I do love that setup! I have heard that those happy huts 1713386369058.png are not good to have for a bird. Just letting you know in case you didn't.

There are risks with fabric , ropes , ect, and especially the fuzzy stuff that sheds little synthetic fuzz. What can happen is threads and fabric can build up in crop over time , months , years, a d cause sn impaction. In a very graphic article , with crop discection pictures, and post mortum necropsy they show . Predominantly in this one , it was all the little threads pulled of rope perches , chewed of white cotton preen toys .
Anyway I chose these because they aren't plush , and threads aren't easily pulled off, I monitor and replace if chewed on ropes or these or anything. Ta-da does t chew these and neither dud my first GCC Burt who had one for her 17 years . The quakers do chew them so I use other option fur them . Phoebe will also chew rope perches when caged, but not when out , so they don't have any rope inside cage .
Conures seem to prefer sleeping flat , a platform per h could also be an option. There are several non fabrics options out there.
As for behavior, Ta-dah has never had hormonal problems, and neither did Burt . We will have to see with Koda. For conures or quakers. Other species differ , as do individuals, and could trigger hormonal issues

Nice!! I have something like this,
View attachment 445089
The top wood is crepe myrtle from my tree, the bottom wooden perch bought at bird pet store , tho I don't know the wood type. I use weight rated fishing line a lot to suspend stuff..I have not had any issues with my small beak parrots snip it, or with them flying into the ones I use to hang the stuff over the cage . I think I'm at over 11 individuals that have lived with me and this kind of set up.

I like it , and need to try one at some point. I have cardboard tube sane stky in the quakers cage . They do slowly chomp and destroy the cardboard, lol,I consider enrichment. But they could enjoy this one while hopefully taking longer to destroy!

The fluffy ones seem to be the worst and is a problem when birds chew on them (even gently). There are some that are made of non pilling fleece which are much safer which could be what pixiebeak has there, I can't see very well.

I have a little snuggle corner, which could be problematic, but I supervised my bird with it for years and he goes up to it and snuggles in sideways to sleep.

Worth remembering that everything can be dangerous to some birds. All birds are different. What is safe for one, is not for another. What is not safe for one, is safe for another.
Everything and anything you give your birds should be routinely checked for hazards and also supervise your birds interactions with.

Okay! I am glad you are being careful with them!

I made my birds one as well. I used apple wood.
