Why does your meals always make me hungry

A salad for Chicken the iguana
- big flat bowl is chop for the baby Tiel and her pellets and some seeds will be added to the same bowl she still likes to be able to walk on her plate and nibble every thing
Then Squeak has chop with some “not chop” bigger pieces on top
Then the parrotlets have chop

Raw sweet potatoes or cooked? I haven’t done sweet potatoes yet because I see so much back and forth info regarding raw or cooked

I just followed @Mizzely or @Shezbug can’t remember which one gave it now advice quick 3/4mins in microwave with boiling water until soft @Pixiebeak offered it raw

I give it both ways these days depending on my mood/time!

Too much can cause stomach upset. Vitamin A is also easier to absorb when cooked.

Some soaked China Prairie Thrive

I'll be adding more soaked/sprouted goodies as they are ready. Currently have some wild rice soaking!

I also have larger pieces for Ripley set aside

Not me with that one, neither Burt nor I will eat sweet potato done in the microwave, other veggies cooked in the microwave are fine but I find the sweet potato texture and taste to be odd when microwaved. We bake ours in the skin as it comes out with a much nicer flavour and texture, comes out even better if baked over hot coals lol

Some of the freeze dried veg mix I get has little bits of raw sweet potato.

I actually remembered a picture this morning.
We’ve got mashed sweet potato, frozen mixed veggies (cooked), kale, yellow bell pepper, and cooked quinoa. I also crushed up some of the red bag of nutriberries and topped the chop with it.
