So many of you know I volunteer with a rescue PEARL, in Pittsburgh. As with most rescues, we only adopt within a certain geographic area. Often we have people apply who are just too far away from us. We would like to be able to refer them to reputable rescues in their area. So, I am asking for some help. If you know of a good rescue, can you PM with it. Let me know whether you have worked with them directly or just know them by reputation. Also, if you know of a rescue that you don't think is good, please do the same. PM with the rescue and what the issue is and whether personal experience or how you know.
I am asking you to please private message me. I don't want this to be a controversial post on good rescues/bad rescues. I plan on doing my own research too, but this would give me a good starting point. I appreciate any help you can give me.
